regards and informs you of the receipt of the letter of the Council
of the Saudi Chambers No.(3011),
date 29/12/1438, referring to the letter of the Food and Drug
Authority (No. 41530) date 27/12/1438 regarding a temporary ban on the
importation of poultry meat, table eggs, their products and their
equipment from (Xaysomboun special region) ) and the Champasak region in the Republic of Laos due to the appearance
of highly pathogenic avian influenza. Excluding the temporary ban on
poultry meat, table eggs and their products thermally treated or in any
other way, can eliminate the avian influenza virus to conform to the
sanitary conditions and standards approved with attaching a health certificate that proves that the product is thermally treated or in any way other capable of eradicating avian influenza virus and be issued by
the competent authorities of the Republic of the Lao authorities.
